Marketing Logistics by B.A.D

Your event materials in Japan,
delivered ready to use.

We store the collateral and equipment you use at trade shows and seminars in Japan, and ship them wherever they need to be. We do not just count boxes. We check that the pens write, charge the devices, and tell you when stock is running low, before you have to ask. Think of us as the logistics arm of your marketing team, working in English or Japanese.

From JPY 19,000/month (tax not included) / Next-day delivery to Kanto and Kansai / English and Japanese support

The kind of updates you will get from us

Checked that the pens write

500 giveaway pens, every one tested

Monitor charged and packed

Ready to switch on at the venue

Only 80 brochures left

We will suggest a reprint before your next show

Does any of this sound familiar?

  • Everything arrives, but nobody checked whether it works

A warehouse will ship the quantity you asked for. Whether the pens still write, the monitor turns on, or the battery is dead is nobody's job. You find out at the booth, when it is too late to do anything about it.

  • Printer, warehouse and courier are three different vendors

When production, storage and shipping sit with three companies, the person holding it together is you. Coordinating vendors ends up taking more time than the event itself.

  • Nobody notices the stock is short until the week before

With a plain storage service, counting is your problem. If no one remembers how many brochures went out last time, you learn you are short right before the next show, when a reprint will not make it.

  • Going into the office just to count boxes and ship them

Even on a remote-first team, someone has to go in to count the display stands and hand parcels to the courier. Before every event, those trips add up.

We do not stop at storage

From production to storage, shipping, returns and the next print run, we handle it as one continuous process.

  1. 01

On arrival we count and inspect every item and log it with photos.

  3. 03

    Storage and inventory

Items are kept at our designated storage site. Stock levels are visible online at any time.

  4. 04

    Picking and packing

We pull what you ask for, make sure it works, then pack it.

  5. 05

    Shipping

Nationwide delivery to the venue, your office, or a home address.

  6. 06

    Returns and inspection

After the event we receive the returns, recount, check condition and log everything again.

  7. 07

    Restock and reprint

Items go back into storage for next time. If stock is low, we flag it and propose a reprint.

Why B.A.D

How this differs from a warehouse

If all you need is storing, counting and shipping, a warehouse plus a print shop will cover it. What we take on is everything after that.

  • We check it works before it ships

Do the pens in the stationery set write? Is the device charged? Our standard for a delivery is that it works the moment you open the box at the venue.

  • We tell you when stock is low, before you ask

We keep an eye on whether there is enough for your next show. If not, we say so and propose a reprint. You do not have to remember.

  • When two events need the same item, we ask which comes first

Overlapping events sometimes need the same materials. We do not ship first come, first served. We check with you on priority.

  • We check the venue's designated carrier

Many Japanese venues require deliveries through an appointed carrier. We confirm this on the delivery form in advance, so nothing gets turned away at the door.

  • We can run the event itself

B.A.D's core business is advertising production and event support in Japan. Beyond storage, you can bring us production, booth fixtures and on-site operations, all through the same contact.

  • We sit between the vendors so you do not have to

Coordinating the printer, the storage site and the courier becomes our job. The hours you spent chasing vendors come back to you.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Where are the items stored?

At a storage site we designate in the Kanto region, with nationwide shipping. For security reasons we do not publish the address. If you need to confirm it before signing, let us know.

Can you take small quantities?

Yes. Our smallest plan is one tatami of space, roughly 1.6 m². A few cartons of giveaways and flyers is fine.

How quickly do you ship?

Orders usually ship the next business day. Same-day requests and large dispatches are handled wherever possible, so if you are in a hurry, ask.

I have a trade show in Osaka in a few days. Will it make it?

Yes. Orders ship the next business day and next-day delivery is available to Osaka, as well as Kyoto, Kobe, Nagoya and the rest of the Kansai and Tokai regions. Timing can vary with carrier conditions and when the order comes in, so the sooner you tell us the dates, the safer.

How do I send you a request?

Any way you like. Email, Slack or another chat tool, whatever your team already uses.

How fast do you reply?

Usually within four hours during Japanese business hours. Requests go to a shared inbox, so they are covered even when one person is out.

Do you work in English?

Yes. Requests and reports can be in English, and what we send you can be forwarded to your head office as is.

Can I get intake and dispatch records for our finance or audit team?

Yes. Every movement is logged, and clients have used our records as supporting documents for internal finance and audit reviews. Tell us the format you need.

What if the amount we store grows?

Let us know before sending more. If the space changes, we will go over the fee with you.

Can you also produce the materials?

Yes. B.A.D's core business is advertising production, digital advertising and event support in Japan. Flyers, giveaways, booth fixtures, on-site operations and online ad management can all go through the same contact.

What does the contract look like?

You sign a storage and shipping services agreement with B.A.D. The minimum term is six months, and liability for loss or damage is set out in the agreement. We can share the document before you decide. The agreement is in Japanese; we will walk you through it in English.
